Completed in 1999, Araluen’s Wedding Chapel has been architect-designed to blend in with and to complement the existing late Victorian Italianate features of Araluen in both appearance and colour. The Wedding Chapel will seat one hundred and twenty four guests, plus the Bridal Party. The inside of the Chapel is constructed from convict brick and features a heavily patterned plaster ceiling. A separate entry area allows the Bridal Party to arrive and, in some privacy and comfort, attend to all the things that Brides need to do just before being married - the last-minute hair and makeup touch ups, the veil and train and those last-second photos without the guests seeing.
The Wedding Chapel features air-conditioning, an accessible toilet, professional sound and lighting systems, generous floral decorations and bells. The Chapel is non-denominational and is able to cater for civil wedding ceremonies and most religious ceremonies, including commitment ceremonies. Timing with a ceremony in the Chapel includes the opening of both Araluen and the Wedding Chapel half an hour prior to the planned ceremony time, with non-alcoholic beverages only available from the bar.
For Cocktail Packages, the charge for a ceremony in the Araluen Wedding Chapel is $1100.00 and includes all of the above services, facilities and GST, but does not include the booking or fees of the celebrant/minister. Cocktail Party A becomes a four hour function while Cocktail Party B becomes a four and a half hour function.
All other packages are available either with or without a Chapel ceremony as published. Ceremony Only – The Wedding Chapel is available only limited days and times for a ceremony only or why not link it with a Champagne Celebration. For further details including times and fees, please contact us.
